I have a 2 inch gap at the bottom of my door. The concrete setteled. I need to lower my garage door.

My garage door is automatic and will not open. I think the torsion spring broke. I need to get my car out for work. Please help with advice. Thanks

Ok, so I'm 17, and so is my boyfriend, Adam. I've been going out with Adam for almost two years, now, but I've known him since second grade (We're seniors). Our garage door has a lose hinge which keeps on getting detached with the roller from the track every few months. The repairer is saying that we should replace the door. Is it necessary? Our door is 10 years old.

How do you copy a signal from a garage door/gate opener transmitor onto another one so that you can have two copys. I need to know if their is some device to copy the signal.
this is for a gate opener. Is their like a long range homelink device that could get the signal.

We just bought a new house and the hosue inspector said the springs should be replaced on the garage door. They have not broken, but they form into a spiral which he says means they are worn and are soon to break. Everywhere I look online however says to just wait for them to break?

is there any value in replacing them now or should I just wait for them to break?

Hello, there is this mountain lion that is in our back yard sometimes so I thought it would be funny to try to trap it under a box like on a cartoon and I used a stuffed animal with bacon on it as bait. I didn't work but I got kind of close, so I kept trying and got more serious about it. I bought a rabbit rabbit and tied it to the a pipe in my garage and left the door open but tied a string to it so I could close it and hid in my car with the window cracked. The string went from the inside of the car, through the window, to the doorknob on the garage door. After about three hours (I had a book with me) the mountain lion came. But it saw me in the car. I think it really wanted the rabbit though because it kept its eye on me but crept up to the rabbit very very slowly. It grabbed the rabbit and killed it but it couldn't fun away with it because it was tied to the pipe. I pulled the garage door closed but then I realized that I couldn't get out of the car because a mountain lion was in the garage with me (so stupid, I know.)

But then I thought I'd just use the button on the thing in my car that would open the garage door, but I had forgotten that the battery was dead. When I started moving in the car though, the thing ran up to the window and swiped its paw through, so I rolled up the window and pinched its arm in it and it went back to eating the rabbit, but every now and then would hiss at me.

After it got done eating the rabbit it started to freak out because it couldnt get out of the garage, it walked around the perimeter about 500 times and I fell asleep.When I woke up I didnt see it so I thought it was gone, and I really had to pee so I got out of the car and ran to the door for my house when it pounced out from under the car and put both its claws in my leg and bit me. But I whipped it with a garden hose that was in the garage that had a sprayer nozzel on the end and I got enough time to run inside.

But I slammed the door so hard that the doggy door on my garage door came unfastened and the stupid mountain lion kept sticking it's head through and I had to keep kicking its head (the plastic part broke off and I cant relock it). I wedged a kitchen knife into the door to keep it closed and went and got duct tape and sealed the doggy door.

I called animal control, but they wont come out because they had already had to come out because I had a buck in my house before, and that i brought it on myself. but i need to know how to get it out of my garage and also i feel like im sweating all the time and im thirsty but i dont want any water, its like im afraid that the water in my pipes is bad because of the mountain lion in the car. how can i get rid of this thing!?!

I switched to my 2nd remote and its batteries died in 3-4 months as well. Does this seem normal? I only open the garage door twice a day. The installer said that a battery should last for at least a year. What could be wrong?

My opener in my car will not open the garage door, but the switch in the garage will open it. Also, the light in the switch in the garage is blinking. What is this telling me?
